Connecting DC Power to the SH12 Shelf
1. Verify that you are properly grounded with an anti-static wrist strap or heel strap
connected to the grounded ESD jack.
2. Verify that the office DC power supply is set up to deliver the correct operating
voltage to the shelf (–40 to –72 VDC nominal).
3. Verify that the correct fuse or breaker is installed at the power supply source and that
power is turned off. For recommended external circuit breaker, see PSM-DC.
4. For the shelf that you want to power, determine which redundant, load-sharing mode
configuration you want to support. These figures detail the supported DCpower
wiring configurations.
