The CEM-4 is not redundant. If you remove the CEM-4 from the shelf:
l External management stops working
l All fans increase to maximum speed
l Some non-critical internal management of modules stops working
l Timing is critical — to prevent equipment from overheating and shutting down, reinsert
or replace the CEM-4 within one minute
