6. Enable IP marking to set the packet marking and the value to mark. Set the DSCP
and IP Precedence values.
Select Enable IP MARK check box to enable IP marking.
i. Select the DSCP radio button to set the DSCP value.
Select the DSCP value from the DSCP drop-down list.
The DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) value refers to 6 bits in
the TOS byte in the IP header that can be used to mark the IP datagram
with a certain value. This value can be interpreted by devices.This packet
passes through on the way to its destination.
ii. Select IP Precedence/ToS radio button to set IP precedence value. At least
one IP Precedence or ToS value must be configured.
• Select the IP Precedence check box and select IP Precedence value
from the drop down list.
• Select Type of Service check box and select the type of service from the
drop down list.
7. Set the queue limit for the scheduler for the traffic class.
Enter the queue limit in the Queue Limit field in the Queued Limit box.
Default queue limit is 150.
8. Click Apply to create a new Traffic Class with basic configuration or click Cancel
to cancel the operation.
