PRELIMINARY
6) Lower the arm to access the lower securing pins as shown in Figure 8-245 and remove the securing
clips on either side of the lower arm.
7) Using a screwdriver, tap out the first securing pin and support the lower arm with the screwdriver in
place of the pin.
8.) Remove the second securing pin and similarly support the other side of the lower arm with a
screwdriver.
9.) While supporting the Lower Arm with one hand, use a Phillips screwdriver to disconnect the ground
lead - Figure 8-246.
