How to replace or upgrade the system
Before you begin, the instrument should be turned off at the
main power switch. You should also have the original system
disk that was provided with the instrument at hand, in case
of any problems. To load the new system, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Rotate the dial continuously
2. Switch the instrument on while still rotating the dial.
You should see the following display
3. Insert the floppy disk or CD containing the new system files.
4. Select INSTALL NEW SYSTEM FROM..
5. Use the dial to choose either Floppy Disk or CD-ROM as
appropriate.
6. Press ENTER.
7. Press ENTER again to confirm that you want to replace
the system files.
System Setup
1. Restore System From Hard Disk
2. INSTALL NEW SYSTEM FROM: CD-ROM
3. EXIT

4. Run System Direct From CD
5. ReBuild HD From CD-MASTER
6. Hard Disk & System Ram Checks
Dont ever attempt to manually copy files into the SYS-
TEM folder. This is not the way to upgrade or replace the
system files. For any replacement or upgrade operations,
always follow the procedure be
low.
