EFFECTS
Lets start by looking at the EFFECTS section of the VOCAL
GENIUS.
Press the EFFECTS button.
Before we do anything
else, make sure that the
MIC-LINE option is se-
lected at the upper right
side.
This simply tells the instrument that we are using the input
jacks as two separate inputs instead of as a stereo pair, (as
you might for a stereo keyboard or a CD player).
In the main part of the display you can see three rectan-
gular boxes. The first two boxes represent the two inputs
on the back panel  MIC and LINE. Since were only using
the MIC input, we can ignore the LINE box in the center.
The box at the bottom is where you select the different
effects that the microphone or other instruments can use.
You can see that there are already some effects selected.
To hear these effects, you need to adjust their SEND levels
in the MIC section at the top.
