You can add professional sounding flourishes and accents to
the styles by using the fill buttons in the FILL & BREAK section.
Fills and Breaks
If you press FILL < you will hear a different fill after which
the style will move to the previous numbered variation.
You will hear a fill pattern which finishes at the beginning
of the next measure. Some styles contain longer fills which
can be heard if you hold the fill button down for more than
1 measure. The other two fill buttons in this section are de-
signed to be used when you wish to change from one varia-
tion to the next. Instead of simply pressing the VARIATION 1,
2, 3 or 4 buttons as we did before, you may instead use either
of the fill to variation buttons which plays a fill and then,
when it finishes, automatically moves to a different variation
of the style. There are two of these fill to variation but-
tons: one which moves up to the next variation and an-
other which moves down to the previous variation. If you
press FILL > you will hear a different fill after which the
style will move to the next numbered variation.
For a normal fill, press the button marked FILL
<>.
