These empty spaces are available for you to load new sounds
into. Having spaces available in each bank means that any
new sounds you load can be stored in the appropriate place.
For example, if you load a new guitar sound from a disk or
CD, you can place it in one of the empty slots in the GUI-
TAR family. If you load a new trumpet sound it can be placed
in the BRASS family and so on. This system allows you
total flexibility when it comes to managing new sounds that
have been loaded into the instrument.
When youve finished exploring the range of single sounds avail-
able, set the instrument back to preset mode by turning off the
SINGLE button and press ESCAPE to return to the home screen.
Each time you press PAGE > the screen advances to the
next bank of sounds in this family. As you reach the higher
numbered banks, youll notice that not all of the spaces are
filled. Some banks contain more sounds than others.
