The first option lets you type in a name for your memory.
When you only have a few memories it might not seem
important to give each memory a name but, as you start to
store more and more settings, youll begin to wish that you
had. Typing in a name is simple. You can use the keys of
the keyboard which have the letters of the alphabet printed
below. Youll also find that the lowest keys offer functions
like CAPS, SPACE, DELETE and BACKSPACE.
Once youve entered a name, press the down arrow to move to
the next line in the display where you can choose one of the 128
banks. You can select a new bank number by turning the dial.
The last choice is to select which of the 8 memories in the
selected bank you want to store your settings in. You can
do this in one of two ways:
1. Press one of the 8 memory buttons
or
2. Select the last line of the display by pressing the down
arrow, use the dial to select a number between 1 and 8
and then press ENTER to confirm.
When you have more than one bank of memories stored,
youll need to use the BANK buttons to move between the
various banks.
