In order to be able to pass over unevenness better, the pick-up is supported by means of two
springs.
The springs can be set by means of the ring bolt (1). Both springs should be set equally.
In the default setting, dimension a is:
• left 150 mm
• right 42 mm
Note
Load on the guide wheels must be sufficiently relieved.
For extreme soil conditions, regulate the raking height of the pick-up with the chains (2)
on both sides (right and left-hand side of the machine):
• Raise the Pick-up hydraulically
• Move the guide wheels (3) up
• Set the desired raking height of the pick-up by suspending the chain (2)

Note
When used in straw, the pick-up should be set as high off the ground as possible.
Use the chain (2) to adjust the pick-up guide wheels in that way that they do not touch the
ground.
Note
If the pick-up is hooked in higher, the height of the drawbar must be adjusted
(see Chapter entitled Start-up “Adapt Drawbar Height”).
