13.4.2 Checking and Setting Axial Play of the Net Brake
CAUTION!
Damage to sensor B2
• Before setting the sensor B2 (net runs), the axial play of the net brake must be checked
and set, if necessary.

Checking Axial Play:
• To release the net brake (2), press the lever (1) downwards.
• Determine the play (a) of the net brake (2) to the adjusting ring (3) by pushing forward and
pushing backward the net brake (2) (visual inspection). The axial play (a) must be 1-2 mm.

Set the axial play if the distance (a) is larger than 2 mm:
• Lift lever (1).
• Swivel the net brake (2) with the net roll mounting shaft (4) to the front and remove the net
brake (2).
• Unscrew the threaded pin (5) out of the adjusting ring (3) and remove it.
• Slide the shim rings on the net roll mounting shaft (4) and install the adjusting ring (3) with
the threaded pin (5) on the net roll mounting shaft (4).
• Slide the net brake (2) on the net roll mounting shaft (4) and swivel it back into the machine.
