6.12 Start-up Bale Turner

The bale turner is used to set bales down from the wrapping table directly on the ground on
their front side.
Bales must be stood up while the machine is stopped.
Functional safety can only be guaranteed to a limited extent on slopes. Check the sheet after
the bales have been stood up. In extreme situations (for example conical bales, on slopes)
standing up the bale could possibly result in damage to the sheet. In this case bales should not
be stood up and the bale turner must be folded back (1) or removed.

Note
Depending on the setting of the bale turner, it can remain folded back on the wrapping table,
even if bales are not being stood up.

increased by using the largest possible tyres (500/55-20 12 PR).
