11.4 Tying and depositing bales
• Just before the net is fed, ensure that you are driving centred over the swath. This will
ensure that the net is drawn along evenly over the edges.
• Start the tying and/or wrapping process (see chapter Operation). Continue receiving crops
until the tying or wrapping material from the crop is conveyed into the bale chamber and
caught by the round bale. The nominal speed of 540 1/min must be maintained until the
tying process is complete.
• Stop the tractor and wait until the tying or wrapping process is complete.
• Transfer round bale to the wrap system.
• When the bale chamber has been closed again, start the next baling process.
• The round bale on the swivel table is wrapped in film during the baling process.
• In automatic mode the bale is deposited by the swivel table after the next tying process has
started. The bale can be deposited manually at any time outside the tying process (also in
automatic mode).
• If the bale is deposited while the tractor is moving, the film must be checked, as the film
may be damaged depending on the surface.

If sheet is wrapped around the bale a second time, the sheet must first be cut off manually.
