No reinforcement strips on the output
Introduction
When there is no reinforcement strip on the output, then
• The reinforcement strip is not correctly installed, or
• The reinforcement strip is not available.
Procedure
1.
Press the Online key on the operator panel to put the printer offline.
2.
Open the side door of the reinforcement unit.
3.
Check for loose reinforcement strips in the unit with the protection sheet on (see situation B in the
figure).

4.
If there are, remove the tape strips in the reinforcement unit.

If the protection sheet is not on the reinforcement strip, there is no mechanical error. You must
insert a new tape roll

on page 349. If this error occurs frequently, you must
call your Océ representative.
5.
Remove all tape between the rollers and the knives.
6.
Install a new trailing strip of tape between the rollers and the knives.
