Remote Service
[Océ Remote Service]
Introduction
The Océ Express WebTools offer remote services online (from the Océ PlotWave 750 or from Océ
to the Océ PlotWave 750).
You can find these settings in the [Support] - [Océ Remote Service] tab.
This tab is only available in case the [Océ Remote Service] license is active. See
Check your
licenses on page 368
[Océ Remote Service] has the following options:
• [Configure proxy]: Configure a secure Internet connection via a proxy server between the Océ
PlotWave 750 and Océ.
• [Check connection]: Check the connection between the Océ PlotWave 750 and Océ.
• [Allow remote assistance]: Allow a remote login from Océ to the Océ PlotWave 750.
• [Download log files]: Download the online services log files from the Océ PlotWave 750.
NOTE
Log on as System Administrator to set up a (secure internet) connection.
[Configure proxy] (applicable if proxy settings are required)
Procedure
1.
Set up the "Proxy server":
• [Proxy enabled]
• [Proxy hostname]: please enter the fully qualified hostname of the proxy server
• [Proxy port]
2.
Set up authentication:
• [Proxy requires authentication]
• [Proxy authentication: user]
• [Proxy authentication: password]
• [Proxy authentication: domain]
3.
Click []OK to finalize the proxy configuration.
[Check connection]
Procedure
1.
After [Configure proxy] setup (if applicable), it is possible to test the connection.
Click on [Check connection] to test the connection between the Océ PlotWave 750 and Océ.
The result is given (within 30 seconds): [The system is connected to Océ Remote Service].
NOTE
Now the system is able to send data to Océ. Examples: Océ Meter Manager information or Océ
online services.
