Brake servo: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the special nuts (4) for the insulating foam.
a Gently move the insulating foam aside.
a Remove:
-the brake servo nuts (3) , on the passenger com-
partment side (the nuts mounting the pedal mount-
ing to the servo),
-the brake servo.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Check that the brake servo seal (5) is present; re-
place the seal if it is faulty.
a parts always to be replaced: Connecting shaft
between the brake pedal and the brake servo
pushrod.
a Before refitting, check the following dimension (X1)
= 144.5 mm ±±
