Clutch master cylinder: Removal - Refitting
JR5, and LEFT-HAND DRIVE

a Press the clutch master cylinder clip.
a Refit the pipe between the clutch master cylinder
and the brake fluid reservoir.
a Refit the clutch master cylinder-slave cylinder con-
necting pipe on the slave cylinder.
a Remove the transparent tube from the bleed hole.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Remove the plugs from the openings.
a Refit the clutch master cylinder supply pipe on the
brake fluid reservoir.
a Refit the expansion bottle.
a Torque tighten the expansion bottle nuts (8 N.m).
a Fill the brake fluid reservoir to the correct level.
a Bleed the clutch circuit (see 37A, Mechanical com-
ponent controls, Clutch circuit: Bleed, page 37A-
37) .
Note:
Lubricate both ends of the supply pipe with brake
fluid to facilitate fitting on the brake fluid reservoir
take-off pipe.
Note:
As you lock the clutch control pipe, you should
hear a safety click.
