MECHANICAL COMPONENT CONTROLS
Clutch circuit: Removal - Refitting
JR5, and LEFT-HAND DRIVE

a Remove the master cylinder-slave cylinder connect-
ing pipe retaining clip (4) on the master cylinder.
a Place a cloth under the master cylinder.
a Disconnect the pipe (5) on the master cylinder in the
engine compartment.
a Fit plugs into the openings.
a Unclip:
- the master cylinder-slave cylinder connecting pipe
from the body (6) ,
- the master cylinder-slave cylinder connecting pipe
from the gearbox at (7) .
a Remove the master cylinder-slave cylinder connect-
ing pipe (8) .
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Check the condition of the seals.
a Remove the plugs from the openings.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Fit the master cylinder-slave cylinder connecting
pipe.
a Clip the master cylinder-slave cylinder connecting
pipe:
- on the gearbox,
- on the body.
a Connect the pipe to the master cylinder in the engine
compartment.
a Refit the clip securing the master cylinder-slave cyl-
inder connecting pipe to the master cylinder.
