REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a
a Turn the wiper stalk from (0) to (1), and then from (1)
to (0).
a Disconnect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery:
Removal - Refitting, page 80A-2) .
a Remove the wiper arms (see 85A, Wiping - Wash-
ing, Windscreen wiper arm: Removal - Refitting,
page 85A-4) .
a Remove the nut covers (1) .
a Remove the nut covers (2) .
a Remove the engine compartment seal (3) .

WARNING
To ensure that the wiper arms can travel
smoothly, the wiper motor must be initialised.
