- Press the ENT key repeatedly until you get to the XMT ADD1 screen.
- Hold the ENT key down to scroll to the XMT ADD1 screen.
- Enter .46 ENT to get to the XMT ADD1 screen.
f. Press 8 to scroll up, or press 0 to scroll down to the desired transmit address for the local RFL
9300. Holding the key down will accelerate the rate at which the numbers change. After about 5
seconds the numbers will scroll by 100’s. If you press 9 it will cancel the current setting and go
back to the previous setting. The transmit address is user selectable from 0016 to 4079. This ad-
dress gets transmitted to the corresponding remote unit for address verification. The sum of the lo-
cal and remote addresses must equal 4095. For example, if the local unit transmit address is set to
4000, then the remote unit transmit address must be set to 0095.
g. For this procedure set the transmit address of the local RFL 9300 to 4000. Then press the ENT
key.
h. To exit the programming mode press .0 ENT. This will get you to the EXIT screen. If the screen
reads EXIT/DISABLE press the 8 key to get into the EXIT/ENABLE screen.
i. Press the ENT key to enter the SEC CODE screen. (The 9300 is asking the operator for the secu-

j. Press .248 ENT.
k. The word ALARM will still be displayed at the top line of the display, and typically the numbers “16”
, “34 or 35” and “46” will still appear on the bottom line. This is because the remote RFL 9300 still
has power OFF, and its transmit address has not been programmed. The numbers may be differ-
ent due to factory test settings. (A complete list of alarm codes appears in Table 6-4 of this Sec-
tion).
l. This completes the programming of the local unit transmit address.
6. Turn on the remote RFL 9300 by placing the POWER switch on the power supply module to the ON
(up) position, and observe the following:
a. All three indicators on the front of the power supply will light, indicating that the power supply is func-
tioning normally. The words "Please Wait" will appear on the display. Red alarm indicators on the
93A SV and 93A PC modules will light, and the beeper will sound.
b. The beeper can be shut off by disabling parameter #44 if desired (audio beeper enable/disable) by
using the PROGRAM mode, as described in para. 6.4.4 later in this section.
c. A green light will illuminate on the display controller (EN/GN = enable/green). This means that trip is
enabled.
d. After a few seconds, the word "ALARM" will flash on the top line of the display, and typically the
number "16", will appear on the bottom line. The numbers may be different due to factory test set-
tings. (A complete list of alarm codes appears in Table 6-4 of this section.)
e. The remote RFL 9300 will remain in this state as long as its transmit address has not been pro-
grammed.
