Onceacablehasbeenpreparedfortermination,itmustbeconnectedtoaunitorcabinet.
Prerequisites
Electricalinstallationscanonlybedonebycertiedelectricians.Allnecessarytoolsand
instrumentsrequiredmustbeavailable.Theinstallationshipyardmustpreparedetailed
drawingsoftheelectricalsystem,andidentifyeachcable.
Context
Observetherelevantcableplans,cablelistsand/orinterconnectiondrawingsforthe
ST90.
Procedure
1Referringtothewiringdiagramandensuringthatthereis5to10cmslackcable
insidethecabinet,prepareandconnectthecablecorestotheappropriateterminals
and/orplugswithinorontothecabinet.
2Securethecableusingcableclips.
3Checktheterminalconnectionsagainstthewiringdiagramtoensuretheyare
correct.Followthesameprocedureforallthecablesandcableglands.
4Checkthecabinettoensurealltoolsandrubbishareremoved,thenclosethe
cabinetdoor.
5Taketheappropriatesafetymeasures,thenreplacethefusesandapplypowerto
thesystem.
6Performarelevantsystemtesttoensuretheinstallationhasbeenmadesuccessfully.
