referenceforthebuilt-insensor
isalwaysrelatedtothegantry.Ifthe
hoist/lowermotordoesnotpointaft
(onorparalleltothevessel’scentre
line)thebuilt-inmotionsensoroffset
mustbedened.Independentofthe
hullunitorientation,theoffsetofthe
built-inmotionsensorisalwaysdenedas:

Forimprovedoperationalaccuracy,anexternalmotionreferenceunit(MRU)may
beused.
OntheMRUpage,denetheoffsetasrotationaroundZ.

sideofthevessel’scentreline(asshownintheillustration),inserttheoffsetasa
numberbetween0and+180degrees.
Ifthereferencemarkpointstotheport(left)sideofthevessel’scentreline,insert
theoffsetasanumberbetween0and–180degrees.
