THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL
(See Components for Removal and Installation)
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE TERMINAL
OF BATTERY
2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM THROTTLE BODY
4. DISCONNECT AIR CLEANER HOSE
6. DISCONNECT VACUUM HOSES
6. REMOVE ACCELERATOR CABLE BRACKET
7. DISCONNECT THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
CONNECTOR
3. DISCONNECT FOLLOWING CABLES:
(a) (w/ Cruise control)
Actuator cable with bracket
(b) Accelerator cable
(c) (A/T)
Throttle cable
8. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY
(a) Remove the four bolts, throttle body and the gasket.
(b) Disconnect the No.4 and No.5 water by–pass hoses
from the throttle body.
