Label Color Status Probable Cause Troubleshooting Steps
Dark (unlit) Off Port admin state is
disabled or
unassigned.
1. Use the management
software to set the port
admin state to "In Service."
2. If other LEDson this module
are also unlit, inspect the
power cables. Ensure that
the power cables are
properly connected to the
PSMs and deliver the
required power.
3. If other LEDs on this module
are operational, unplug the
ECM-x and re-insert it. If the
LED remains unlit, return the
module to ADVA Optical
Networking.
