Red On steadily An equipment
failure exists on
this port or the
laser failed.
1. View the current alarms in the
management software.
2. See the appropriate software guide
to resolve the alarm(s).
Dark (unlit) Off Port admin state is
disabled or
unassigned, or no
power is supplied
to this module.
1. Use the management software to
check the port admin state. If the
port admin state is disabled or
unassigned, set it to "In Service."
2. If the LED remains unlit, view the
current alarms in the management
software, and then refer to the
appropriate software guide to
resolve any alarm associated with
this port.
