Red On steadily Plug missing or
laser failed in a
plug that is
associated with a
single-lane
service.
1. If a plug is not installed at this port,
install the correct plug.
2. If the LED remains red, view the
current alarms in the management
software, and then refer to the
appropriate software guide to
resolve the alarm(s).
Red Blinking Plug mismatch
1. Verify that the installed plug is
correct and approved by ADVA
Optical Networking.
2. Check the management software
to ensure that the plug is correctly
provisioned.
3. If the LED remains red, view the
current alarms in the management
software, and then refer to the
appropriate software guide to
resolve the alarm(s).
Dark (unlit) Off Port admin state is
disabled or
unassigned, or no
power is supplied
to this module.
1. Use the management software to
check the port admin state. If the
port admin state is disabled or
unassigned, set it to "In Service."
2. If the LED remains unlit, view the
current alarms in the management
software, and then refer to the
appropriate software guide to
resolve any alarm associated with
this port.
