Configure the Drive with KNX5100C Software Chapter 7
Activate Signals Manually
Use the On/Off buttons on the right side to enable the DI
and DO control. You can use these On/Off buttons to
control the DI or DO signals while the drive is connected.
This function is disabled when the Disable button is pressed.
To activate the DI signal manually, perform the following steps.
1. Click Enable DIO Status.
2. Check the box first that is next to the On/Off button.
3. Press On/Off to change the status of the DI signals directly.
To control the digital outputs via the communication software settings when the
servo drive is connected, check the Enable DO Override box.
Edit DIO Configurations
When the editing function is enabled, the function of the digital input (DI) and
digital output (DO) becomes disabled temporarily. To change the function and
status of DI and DO signals, perform the following steps.
1. Check the box next to Edit DIO Configurations to enable the editing
function.
2. Use the pull-down menu to change the DIO function in the drive.
3. Click OK to save the changes and download to the drive.
