Continuity of the HARNESS ASSY CHUTE
1. Disconnect P/J24 on the HVPS/MCU.
2. Check continuity of the following wiring:
(Refer to “Connectors (p.406)”)
J24-13 ↔ J245-6
J24-12 ↔ J245-7
J24-5 ↔ J248-1
J24-4 ↔ J248-2
♦Does each wiring between J24 ↔ J245 and between
J24 ↔ J248 have continuity?
Go to Step 2
Replace the
HARNESS
ASSY CHUTE

Continuity of HARNESS ASSY TRAY1 and TRAY2
1. Remove the CLUTCH ASSY PH. (p.318)
2. Disconnect P/J245 or P/J248.
3. Check continuity of the following wiring:
P/J245-8 ↔ P/J242-1
P/J245-7 ↔ P/J242-2
P/J248-5 ↔ P/J247-1
P/J248-4 ↔ P/J247-2
♦Does each wiring between J245 ↔ J242 and between
J248 ↔ J247 have continuity?
Go to Step 3
Replace the
HARNESS
ASSY TRAY1
or TRAY2

CLUTCH ASSY PH
1. Measure the resistance between P/J242-1 ↔ P/J242-
2 and between P/J247-1
↔P/J247-2.
♦Is the coil resistance of the CLUTCH ASSY PH
172Ω
± 10% (20°C)?
Go to Step 4
Replace the
CLUTCH
ASSY PH

Continuity of the HVPS/MCU
1. Disconnect P/J24 and P/J10 on the HVPS/MCU.
2. Check continuity between the following terminals:
J24-12 ↔ J10-1
J24-4 ↔ J10-1
♦Is there continuity between J24 ↔ J10?
Go to 3.4.1
