2.6.3 Fuser Control
CONTROL METHOD OF FUSER
Turning ON/OFF of the Halogen Lamp is controlled based on the Fuser control
temperature.
The Fuser control temperature is the standby temperature at the start of warming up or
during stoppage of the Main Motor. It is also the running temperature during operation
of the Main Motor at any time other than during warming up.
TURNING ON/OFF CONTROL OF HALOGEN LAMP
Turning ON/OFF of the Halogen Lamp is to maintain the Fuser control temperature.
WARM-UP OF FUSER
When the Fuser starts warming up, the Halogen Lamp turns ON (lights up)
simultaneously. The Fuser completes warming up when the surface temperature
(detected by the thermistor) of the HEAT ROLL reaches the Fuser control temperature
(standby temperature).
The Main Motor is operating while the Fuser is warming up.
FUSER TEMPERATURE IN READY STATUS
When Ready (= Standby status): 180~185°C
(Temperature rises above 185°C during operation)
FUSER TEMPERATURE AT DETECTION OF ABNORMAL
TEMPERATURE (TOO HIGH/TOO LOW)
Too high temperature: 250°C
Too low temperature: 130°C
