 Description of the problem:
The whole paper is printed in completely
white.
 Parts below can be the source of this error:

Installation of HVPS/MCU
1. Check if the HVPS/MCU is assembled to under the
hook of the FRAME.
♦Does the HVPS/MCU assemble properly?
Go to Step 2
Reassmble the
HVPS/MCU

Path of laser beam
1. Inspect the path of laser beam from the ROS ASSY
to the Drum.
♦Is the path of laser beam free from obstacles?
Go to Step 3
Remove the
obstacle.

ROS ASSY
1. Check the window of the ROS ASSY to see if it is
free from by obstacles, etc. that blind it completely.
♦Is the connector of the ROS ASSY connected?
Go to Step 4
Remove the
obstacles from
the window of
the ROS
ASSY, or
connect the
connector of
the ROS
ASSY.

Imaging Cartridge
1. Install a new Imaging Cartridge.
2. Print the image in question again.
♦Is image density normal?
Problem
solved
Go to Step 5

BTR ASSY
1. Remove the BTR ASSY. (p.254)
2. Check the BTR Assy for dirt or wear.
♦Is the BTR free from dirt and damage and wear?
Go to Step 6
Replace the
BTR ASSY

Image developing process
1. Execute test printing, and turn off the power to the
printer during printing.
2. Remove the Imaging Cartridge carefully, and
inspect the toner image formed on the drum located
just before the transfer portion (BTR).
♦Is the image on the drum such that it has been
completely formed, the region is clear and black,
and can be easily read?
Go to Step 7
