3.1.6 Mechanical Controller Test Printing Function
With this printer, you can carry out printing operation check of the engine alone by
control of the Mechanical Controller as follows:
3.1.6.1 How to Execute Test Printing
Short-circuit the jumper wire (JP93 JP TEST) on the HVPS/MCU Board to the frame,
and the test pattern as shown in
Figure 3-2 will be printed. Quit short-circuitting to
terminate printing.

3.1.6.2 Test Print Pattern
Figure 3-2 below shows the pattern output by print test of the engine alone.

Note 1: The d2 value in table above represents the case of A4 LEF printing.

There is no problem even if the lines in the paper feed direction is
printed jaggy. Jaggy line printing occurs because jitter control is
not performed.
