When the SOLO button is turned on, you will hear only the
track which is currently selected. At this point you may hear
absolutely nothing. Thats probably because the track which
is currently selected is empty. Select a track which contains
some recorded music, (remember, you can tell by the icon
on the left), and you should hear that track playing on its
own. If you still hear nothing, it will only be because that track
isnt playing anything at this particular point in the song.
Now you know how to identify any track, lets change the
sounds that are being used by track 8, (the melody) and
track 10, (the bass). Make sure that tracks 1-8 are dis-
played in the screen. If they are not, keep pressing the
PART button until the screen shows these tracks.
Now select track 8 by pressing the button to the left of it.
Make sure that SOLO is turned off and start the song playing
by pressing PLAY
