020: OD/Hi.Gain Wah (Overdrive/
Hi.Gain Wah)
This distortion effect utilizes an Overdrive mode and a Hi-Gain
mode. Controlling the wah effect, the 3-band EQ, and the amp
simulation will allow you to create versatile distortion sounds.
This effect is suitable for guitar and organ sounds.
Wah
The Wah parameter switches the wah effect on/off.
Switch Mode
This parameter sets how the wah effect is switched on and off via
the modulation source.
When “Switch Mode” = Moment, the wah effect is usually turned
off. It is turned on only when you press the pedal or use the
modulation wheel.
When a value for the modulation source is less than 64, “off”
speed is selected, and when the value is 64 or higher, “on” is
selected.
When “Switch Mode” = Toggle, the wah effect is switched
between on and off each time you press the pedal or use the
modulation wheel.
The switch will be turned on/off each time the value of the
modulation source exceeds 64.
Wah Sweep Range
Wah Sweep Src
This parameter sets the sweep range of the wah center frequency.
A negative value will reverse the direction of sweep. The wah
center frequency can be controlled by the modulation source
specified in the “Source” parameter.
Pre Low Cut
Cutting the signal in the low range before it is input to the
Distortion will create a sharp distortion.
Drive
Output Level
The degree of distortion is determined by the level of input signal
and the setting of “Drive.” Raising the “Drive” setting will cause
the entire volume level to increase. Use the “Output Level”
parameter to adjust the volume level. The “Output Level”
parameter uses the signal level input to the 3-Band EQ. If clipping
occurs at the 3-Band EQ, adjust the “Output Level” parameter.
