Foot Pedal Assign
Specify the function that will be controlled by an assignable pedal
(separately sold XVP-10, XVP-20 or EXP-2) connected to the
ASSIGNABLE PEDAL jack.
• Make this setting in Global/Media mode G-INPUT/CTRL,
FOOT Foot Pedal Assign (see page 165).
If you choose a function that includes a CC#, that MIDI
control change message will be transmitted.
Foot Pedal Assign List
Off The connected pedal will have no
function.
Master Volume Control the volume. At the same
time, a universal system exclusive
Master Volume message [F0H, 7FH,
nn, 04, 01, vv, mm, F7H] will be
transmitted, adjusting the volume of
all timbres or tracks (while
preserving the volume balance of
their individual settings).
Foot Pedal (CC#04) Controls AMS or Dmod. To use this,
choose “Pedal #04” for AMS, or
“Pedal #4” as the Dmod Src.
Portamento Time
(CC#05)
Control the speed where portamento
will change the pitch.
Volume (CC#07) Control the volume of the program,
the combination, or the sequencer's
MIDI track.
Post IFX Pan
(CC#08)
Control the pan of the signal that has
passed through the insert effect.
Pan (CC#10) Control the pan of the program, the
combination's timbre, or the
sequencer's MIDI track.
Expression (CC#11) Control the volume of the program,
the combination's timbre, or the
sequencer's MIDI track. The volume
is determined by the product of the
Expression and the Volume.
FX Control 1
(CC#12)
Controls Dmod. To use this, choose
FX1 #12 as the Dmod Src.
FX Control 2
(CC#13)
Controls Dmod. To use this, choose
FX2 #13 as the Dmod Src.
MFX Send 1
(CC#93)
Control the send level to master
effect 1 (MFX1) from the program,
the combination's timbre, or the
sequencer's MIDI track. At the same
time, this will also control the send
level to master effect 1 (MFX1) for
an insert effect whose MIDI channel
matches.
MFX Send 2
(CC#91)
Control the send level to master
effect 2 (MFX2) from the program,
the combination's timbre, or the
sequencer's MIDI track. At the same
time, this will also control the send
level to master effect 2 (MFX2) for
an insert effect whose MIDI channel
matches.
Mod Wheel
(CC#01)
Control the effect of the modulation
wheel in the direction away from
yourself.
CC#02 (JS-Y) Controls AMS or Dmod. Choose JS-
Y:#02 for AMS, or JS-Y #2 for Src.
CC#16 (Ribbon) Controls AMS or Dmod. To use this,
choose “Ribbon #16” for AMS, or
“Ribbn#16” as the Dmod Src.
ARP GATE Controls the arpeggiator's Gate.
ARP VELOCITY Controls the arpeggiator's Velocity.
ARP SWING Controls the arpeggiator's Swing.
