Foot Switch Assign
Here you can assign the function of an assignable switch (a
separately sold PS-1 or PS-3) that's connected to the
ASSIGNABLE SWITCH jack.
Create this setting in Global/Media mode G-INPUT/CTRL,
FOOT Foot SW Assign (see page 165).
If you choose a function that includes a CC#, that MIDI
control change message will be transmitted each time you
turn the switch on/off. (Off: 0, On: 127)
If you choose SW1 or 2, the MIDI control change message
specified by the Panel Switch Assign setting in each mode
will be transmitted each time you turn the switch on/off. (Off:
0, On: 127)
Foot Switch Assign List
Portamento SW (CC#65)
If Oscillator Mode (see page 7) is Single, turning the switch on
will apply portamento regardless of the Enable (see page 17)
setting; portamento will not apply when the switch is off.
If Oscillator Mode is Double, and the Enable setting is the same
for both oscillators 1 and 2 (i.e., enabled or disabled for both
oscillators 1 and 2), turning the switch on will apply portamento to
oscillators 1 and 2; portamento will not apply to oscillators 1 and 2
when the switch is off.
If the Enable setting differs between OSC1 and 2 (i.e., if oscillator
1 is enabled and oscillator 2 disabled, or if oscillator 1 is disabled
and oscillator 2 is enabled), then turning the switch on will apply
portamento to the oscillator that is enabled; portamento will not
