• Lock the blade shaft:
Pull the locking bolt (1) out of position (b) and allow it to engage in position (a).
• Adjust the cutting length (turn blade control shafts (A/B) in “+” position)
After the cutter control shafts have been adjusted, the cutters automatically swivel back up into
working position.
• Check to make certain all the cutters have swivelled up If they have not, lightly tap any
blades that have not already swivelled up with a tool (for example a hammer) striking the
back of the cutters to move them back to working position

Note
If the cutting system is not connected for long periods, the cutting blades can be replaced with
blind blades to prevent soiling of the slots on the blade base and wear to the blades.
The blind blades can be ordered from the KRONE spare parts department under part number
200654050.
