Prerequisite:
– The machine is stopped and secured.
– The cam-type clutch is removed from the machine.

Decomposing cam-type clutch
• Prise the seal ring out of the coupling housing by using an auxiliary tool (e.g. screwdriver).
• Remove retaining ring.
• Remove support disc and shim rings.
• Remove hub from coupling housing.
Caution! Always observe the position of the bevelled edge on the locking cams when pulling
out them.
• Remove the locking cams from the hub.
• Clean all parts.
• Grease all parts with Walterscheid grease by using a brush.
To grease, use Agraset 116 (order no. 304291) or Agraset 147 (order no.102966). The grease
must be purchased from Walterscheid.
• Top up the deepening in the coupling housing with grease.

Caution! Always observe the position of the bevelled edge on the locking cams when inserting
the locking cams.
– Locking cam a) = right
– Locking cam b) = wrong
• Insert locking cams into hub.
• Insert the pre-assembled hub into the coupling housing.
• Insert shim rings and support disc and secure with retaining ring.
• Apply grease again on shim rings, support disc and retaining ring.
• Insert seal ring.
