WIPING - WASHING
Windscreen wiper motor: Removal - Refitting

a Remove the windscreen wiper motor shaft nut (3) .
a Unclip the windscreen wiper motor connector (4) .
a Remove:
-the bolts from the windscreen wiper motor,
-the windscreen wiper motor.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Connect:
- the windscreen wiper motor,
-the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal -
Refitting, page 80A-2) .
a Turn the wiper stalk from (0) to (1), and then from (1)
to (0).
a Disconnect:
-the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Removal -
Refitting, page 80A-2) ,
- the windscreen wiper motor.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- the windscreen wiper motor,
- the windscreen wiper motor bolts.
a Torque tighten the windscreen wiper motor bolts
(8 N.m).
a Clip the windscreen wiper motor connector.

To ensure that the wiper arms can travel
smoothly, the wiper motor must be initialised.
