2.2.5 Servo ON
Before the manipulator can be moved in MANUAL (TEACH) mode or
AUTOMATIC (PLAY) mode, the servos must be turned ON. This can be
accomplished by:
Pressing the {SERVO} on the Status Bar
Pressing the [SERVO] membrane key
If the system is in AUTOMATIC (PLAY) mode, the servos will turn ON.
NOTE
In MANUAL (TEACH) mode, the {SERVO} in the Status Bar
turns orange after the {SERVO} is pressed. User must also
activate the Enable Switch to turn the servo ON.
SUPPLE

Servo Power ON/OFF --- Enable Switch
The operator can turn ON servo power by gripping the
Enable Switch. However, if the operator squeezes the
switch tightly, a “click” will occur and servo power will turn
OFF.
