Chapter 7 Configure the Drive with KNX5100C Software
3. In the Change Catalog Number dialog box, find and select the motor for
your application.
4. Click OK to select that catalog number and to close the Change Catalog
Number dialog box.
When you click OK, all motor parameter values for that catalog number
are retrieved from the KNX5100C motor database.
5. On Motor Device Specification, click Download.
6. Drive power is automatically cycled. When power is restored to the drive,
all motor parameter values for the selected catalog number are
downloaded to the drive and take effect.
TIP Catalog number availability is from the motor database embedded into the
KNX5100C software.
Use the Family and Feedback Type pull-down menus to further filter the
related motors.
IMPORTANT If you select the wrong catalog number, an E 60A (Catalog Number Match) fault
occurs at the drive.
To correct the error, use one of three methods of commutation alignment
explained in step 3
on page 131, and to Considerations for Drive Offset
Alignment on page 131.
