Important:
If the switch CPU is busy performing other tasks, the output of the show running-config
command can appear to intermittently stop and start. This is normal operation to ensure that
other switch management tasks receive appropriate priority.
Important:
The ASCII
configuration generated by the show running-config command produces a
file in which the IP address of the switch is inactive by being commented out using the '!'
character. This enables customers to move the configuration between switches without
causing issues with duplicate IP addresses.
