7.3.3. Optimising the stalling behaviour
If the motor is driven with frequencies above the rated motor frequency, the operating
point is shifted to the "field weakening range". In this range, the motor voltage does not
increase proportionately to the output frequency anymore. As a consequence, the
inverter automatically reduces the maximum current since the full torque is not available
anymore at these frequencies.
For special motors which enable an operation in the field weakening range, the behaviour
in the field weakening range can be adapted to the motor with 0x2B0C (P319.00).
DANGER!
Danger by incorrect parameterisation.
Possible consequences: damage to material assets and injury to persons
Only change the default setting (0 Hz) in 0x2B0C (P319.00) after consulting the motor manufacturer!
Recommendation: Maintain default setting (0 Hz).
Preconditions
The function is only effective in the motor control type "V/f characteristic control (VFC
open loop)".
