12.3.4. Network setpoint source
The network can be set as standard setpoint source. Optionally, a change-over to the
network setpoint is possible via the "Activate network setpoint" function (not if the
network control is activated) or via network control word (if the network control is
activated).
If the network control is activated, all functions for setpoint change-over are
inactive!
Details
In order to generally set the network as standard setpoint source, go to 0x2860:001
(P201.01) and select "Network [5]".
The "Activate network setpoint" 0x2631:017 (P400.17) function enables a change-over to
the network setpoint if no network control is active (0x2631:037 (P400.37) = "FALSE").

A setpoint change-over is only effected if no setpoint source with a higher priority has

• Application example 1: The AC drive control word shall enable a change-over from the
standard setpoint source to the network setpoint. In this case, another selection than
"Network [5]" must be set in 0x2860:001 (P201.01). In addition, select "Network
setpoint active [116]" in 0x2631:017 (P400.17).
• Application example 2: Independent of the used network, a digital trigger (e. g. digital
input) shall enable a change-over from the standard setpoint source to the network
setpoint. In this case, another selection than "Network [5]" must be set in 0x2860:001
(P201.01). In addition, set the desired digital trigger in 0x2631:017 (P400.17).
If the network control is activated, a change-over to the network setpoint is possible via
the used network control word:
