/ROSMOT ON Signal of Scanner Motor
1. Install the Imaging Cartridge.
2. Close the COVER OPEN.
3. Check voltage behavior between P/J131-3 ↔ P/
J131-2 after turning power on.
♦Is the voltage 0V immediately after power on and 5
VDC 10 seconds after stop of the Main Motor?

10
Continuity of the HARNESS ASSY ROS
1. Disconnect P/J13 of the HVPS/MCU
2. Check continuity between P/J13 ↔ P/J130.
♦Is there continuity in each wiring between P/J13 ↔
P/J130?
Replace the
HVPS/MCU
Replace the
HARNESS
ASSY ROS
11
Continuity of the HARNESS ASSY ROS
1. Disconnect P/J17 and P/J16 from the HVPS/MCU.
2. Disconnect P/J170 and P/J160 from the ROS ASSY.
3. Check continuity between the following terminals:
P/J17 ↔ P/J170
P/J16 ↔ P/J160
♦Does each wire between P/J17 ↔ P/J170 and
between P/J16 ↔ P/J160 have continuity?
Go to Step 12
Replace the
HARNESS
ASSY ROS
12
SOS power supply circuit of the ROS ASSY
1. Disconnect P/J140 from the ROS ASSY.
2. Check continuity between the following terminals:
P/J140-8 ↔ P/J201-1
P/J140-6 ↔ P/J201-2
P/J140-7 ↔ P/J201-3
♦Is there continuity between each circuitry of P/J140
↔ P/J201?
Go to Step 13
Replace the
ROS ASSY
