Drum Cartridge Detect Switch
Note
Replacing this part requires major disassembly of the printer. Be sure this part is
defective before begining this procedure.
1. Remove the Front Left Cover (page 8-5).
2. Remove the Top Cover (page 8-7).
3. Remove the Drum Cartridge.
4. Remove the Toner Cartridge.
5. Remove the Front Door (page 8-8).
6. Remove the Inner Main Cover (page 8-9).
7. Remove the HVPS (page 8-86).
8. Remove the Drum Cartridge Fan Intake Duct (page 8-56).
9. Remove the Toner Dispense Assembly (page 8-71).
10. Remove the Lower Rear Cover (page 8-16).

11. Disconnect the two connectors (P403 and P404) from the Engine Logic Board.
