Stacker Lower Tray Failure - H5-86 Side Regi SNR OFF
Either or both Side Registration Sensors do not transition within the time interval
specified (500 ms) following activation of the Punch Move Motor or the state changes
to On after the Punch Move Motor stops.

Check Set Clamp Clutch Harness
continuity.
1. Disconnect P/J8338B and P/J8304.
2. Check for continuity at the following:
J8338B-1 <=> P/J8304-20
J8338B-2 <=> P/J8304-22
Are these conductive?
Go to Step 19. Repair the Set
Clamp Clutch
Harness.

Check for +24 V to the Set Clamp Clutch.
Is there +24 V across J8304-22 <=>
ground on the Finisher Main PWB?
Go to Step 20. Replace the
Finisher Main
PWB

page 3-248).

Replace the Set Clamp Clutch.
Print a Test Print.
Does the error still occur?
Replace the
