Vertical Deletions
A vertical band in the scan direction where the image is missing or extremely light.
Initial Actions
â– Check that the paper supply is dry and meets specifications.
â– Inspect the paper path for items, such as staples, paper clips, and paper
scraps.
â– Check installation of the Drum Cartridge.
â– Check Transfer Roller for wear or contamination.
â– Check that the Drum Cartridge ground contacts are clean.
â– Ensure there are no obstructions in the laser path.
â– Check that rollers and other paper path components are clean and
unobstructed.
