Horizontal Deletions
A deletion is an area of the print where the image is missing or extremely light.
Horizontal deletions extend across the page.
Initial Actions
â– Check that the paper supply is dry and meets specifications.
â– Inspect the paper path for items, such as staples, paper clips, and paper
scraps.
â– Check the installation of the Drum Cartridge.
â– Check that the Drum Cartridge ground contacts are clean.
â– Check the Transfer Roller for contamination or wear.
â– Check that rollers and other paper path components are clean and
unobstructed.
