Filler cap and opener
Disassembly/assembly of filler cap and opener
11. If desirous to dismount the filler cap opener, remove first the trim panel at the left side of trunk
(See——Trim Panel, Disassembly/Assembly of Trim Panel at the Side of Trunk)
12. If dismounting the opener cable of filler cap, remove first the seat at the driver side prior to remove the
pedals of front/rear doorsills at the driver side, the trim panel underneath the driver-side column B,
buckle below the safety belt at the driver side, driver-side wheel cover trim and trunk trim panel, and
then turn the carpet over (See——Seats, Disassembly/Assembly of Front Seats) (Trim Panel,
Disassembly/Assembly of Trim Panel under the Column B) (Trim Panel, Disassembly/Assembly of
Trunk Trim Panel);
13. Disassembly as per the order as indicated in the table below;
14. Install as per the reverse order with that of removal;
15. Adjust the position of filler cap (See——Adjustment of Filler Cap Position)

Adjustment of filler cap
1. Measure the clearance and segment gap between the filler cap and bodywork;
Clearance
2. If non-conform to the requirements, loosen the mounting bolt of filler cap and readjust the position of
filler cap;
3. Tighten the mounting bolt of filler cap.
