Disassembly/assembly of Combination
instrument
1. Remove the screw;
2. Hold the lower end of combination instrument
cover and draw out forcibly the snaps.
3. Install as per the reverse order with that of
removal.
Disassembly/assembly of radio player
panel
Disassembly:
1. ①Insert a flathead screwdriver the slit of lower
part of A/C controller, rotate the screwdriver
and two snaps below the lower panel will come
off. ② Hold with hands both sides of panel and
force it outward to loosen out the upper snaps.
Pull out the panel;
2. Take out by use of a Phillips screwdriver 4
screws of A/C controller lock, and then pull out
the rear connector and remove the A/C
controller;
3. ①Grasp with hands two lugs below the HI-FI
panel, and force it outward to disengage the
snaps HI-FI panel; ② hold with hands both
sides of panel and force it outward to disengage
the snaps of upper panel. Finally pull out the
connector behind the panel, and then remove
the panel;
4. Take out with a Phillips screwdriver, 4 screws
locking the HI-FI host, and then draw out
slightly the host, pull out two connectors
behind the host, and then take out the HI-FI
host;
Precautions to removal:
1. The HI-FI includes single CD and CD+GPS
with the methods of assembly/disassembly
basically same, where there are two additional
plugs behind the CD+GPS host, please pay
attention by disassembly;
2. Be cautious that the shift lever handle may be
scratched. Thus it is best to set the gloves on
the shift lever handle;
3. When removing the A/C controller panel, insert
the flathead screwdriver from the slit of the
lower panel instead of lateral panel, otherwise
the trace of screwdriver will be visible. In
addition, apart from this part, no use of any
hard objects such as screwdriver is allowed to
pry plastic parts during the whole process.
4. Be careful of damage on the HI-FI surface and
screen, thus please gently operate when the
removal carried out;
5. To take out the connector, please press first the
latch then pull it out, do not directly draw it
apart, otherwise it will damage the connector;
6. Please keep properly in a safe place as the
removed HI-FI and A/C controller assemblies
are heavier;
7. During the dismounting process, try to avoid
direct force on the air duct (See 4 in the first
Fig.) and damage on the blades.
Assembly:
1. Insert all connectors behind the HI-FI host and
A/C controller;
2. Prior to contain the HI-FI and A/C controller
assemblies into the dashboard, it is proposed to
check whether all are operating (HI-FI and
